I've reached my limit.....

so I'm told by Blogger.

Last evening when I was working on a new post I started to upload some photos and an Error box popped up and said that I had reached my limit. There was no more storage left.

Evidently Blogger stores photos in Picasa and when you run out of storage you have to buy more. Does that sound right?

I have to do some research and try to figure this out. Has anyone else had a problem?

Be back soon...
hopefully with some new photos!

I think Mary at Across The Pond had that problem and she started a new blog. Not sure though. I have been blogging since 2006 and have not run into that problem. Let us know what you find out.

Me Either! You and I started our blogs in the same year & month! I haven't had that problem yet and I think I have 5 blogs?!!
Maybe it was just an error! Did you close (sign out) blogger and than sign in again?

I have seen a few others mention having this problem on their blogs, but I haven't had it happen yet. Like Penny said, I think they mentioned that they had to start new blogs. I hope you don't need to do that. I'll be interested to see what you find out.

I hope that is not true!

This will happen to me soon too. You will have to start a new blog. I think you can purchase more space, but I am not sure completely. You can also decide to store your pictures somewhere else, such as photobucket or Flickr.
I am so dreading that time when it happens to me....

Oh, major bummer. I hope you get this worked out soon. It seems crazy that it would force people to start a new blog.

Oh, that is worrisome! I have Picasa on my computer and even though I download pictures to my own picture file, I also put them in Picase to edit them if needed. I do save them to disc from time to time and then delete them from my computer. Maybe we all should be saving to disc, deleting from Picasa to make more space??

Hi Donna
We must have started blogging around the same time as that happened to me last month! I thought I would have to think of a "new" blog name but blogger actually came up with putting the deb in front of the posted from home so I was able to keep it fairly similar :-)Thanks for following me over to the new blog xo Deb
