Hydrangea

I brought in a big bouquet of hydrangea blooms from the garden this morning and put them in a blue and white pottery pitcher. I thought the blues and the whites look so pretty together.

I like to bring in fresh flowers from the garden whenever possible, and these will be perfect to dry for winter arrangements.

Here is something I found comical the other evening when I looked out the kitchen window. Riley's stuffed teddy....sitting in the middle of the walk way. It's as if he posed him out there. I don't know how that happened, but I thought it was so cute.

Riley's always dragging toys out in the back yard. Otis, on the other hand, doesn't really play with toys. He'd rather take naps.

Have a good weekend everyone!
Donna

When I was outside last night, I made a mental note to cut some hydrangea blooms to bring inside. Yours look lovely.

And, that bear photo is adorable.

Your hydrangeas are so pretty. They do so well here in NC and they have become one of my favorite flowers. I guess that is why I have planted 12 of them :-)
The teddy bear picture put a smile on my face. Peanut has a beloved "froggy" and I think it's so sweet how our furry friends pick favorite toys just like small children often do.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hydrangeas are hard to grow here in dry old Utah. They like the moist air better. I'm with you I love to bring in flowers from the yard. Little bouquets here and there are so fun. A simple pleasure for sure. Mimi

Hi Donna...hope your having a good weekend...I too love hydrangeas but I have never had the pleasure of growing them...I love how they look dried...and your picture of the teddy bear...too cute. I love when dogs play with stuffed animals...Boo is 12 and still loves to throw them up in the air...

we have this same thing going on with our girls. BUT it's not just toys that they drag into the back yard. this weekend hubby found my tweezers and one of his flip flops. we just laugh and enjoy every minute of it!
