Having fun with a painting

I decided to have fun today with a painting.

Just put paint on canvas.

No thinking about it, no drawing it, no working in detail, and no worrying about it being perfect. Very unlike me, you see, because I am all of the above when it comes to painting. I decided to simply have fun with it and enjoy it.

And I did.

And I like how it turned out.

In fact I'm so pleased with it, I think I'll frame it and hang it....

and I might do another one tomorrow. I'm thinking sunflowers.

Beautiful! I've been looking through some of your posts that I've missed Donna and enjoying each one. Your garden looks beautiful - loved the raindrops on foxgloves & naps on the porch :-)
