In the garden spirit

I may not have a garden room in my home, but I like to bring the garden inside with a bit of decorating. A room that's filled with sunshine, plants, flowers and birds (not real birds, although I guess you could have real birds).

You can achieve the look with wicker furniture, concrete urns, bird cages, flower patterned fabrics.....anything that you might have outside, you can bring inside.

It's a look and feel I've always loved.....maybe now even more because spring is just around the corner.

Bring the spirit of the garden inside and surround yourself with nature.

Hi, Donna! I agree - I do the same thing in our home ... decorating seasonally helps me to embrace the beauty and wonder of each one - - now, if only that darn snow would melt outside so that I can fully appreciate my chicks, ducks & flowers! :) Absolutely L-O-V-E the birdcage!!

If you bring the season indoors it can't not lighten your spirit!

Hi Donna, I agree with you 100%! No matter what time of year I always try to bring some of the outdoors in-just makes you feel great! Enjoy!

Donna your pillows are so pretty and I love the birdcage!

I love green plants and my window sills are full of them. It is like having a year round garden. When my African Violets bloom it feels like summer.:=)

The weather here was finally nice this weekend..the snow is all gone! YAY!

I am so anxious for Spring, too. I brought our my bunnies and spring decorations last weekend. I can hardly wait.
