What are you reading?

I just finished the book, "The French Gardner". What a great story. If you enjoy Maeve Binchy and Rosamunde Pilcher, you will enjoy this book.

I'm on to my next book, "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. I can't put it down!

Enjoy your day!

I see we have the same taste in books. Rosamunde Pilcher and Maeve Binchy are 2 of my favorite authors. In fact I am re-reading Rosamunde's "Winter Solstice". I rarely re-read books, but this is one I really enjoy at this time of year.
The Help is on my list of books to read. Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much.

Hi, Donna! Happy New Year! What a lovely surprise it was to find your "hello" on my spot .... I've been in and out so very far between. Just wanted you to know that you brightened my day and I had to pay you a visit. The book sounds tempting ... I have The Help but haven't started it yet - promising that you can't put it down! I'm currently reading The Deep Blue Sea for Beginners by Luanne Rice - which is actually a sequel to The Geometry of Sisters. This is a slow one for me so far ...

I need to get back on the wagon with my bloggin' - have a few paintings to share.

I'll roam about to see what you have been busy with - - - you are always such an inspiration!

Blessings always,
Jenny

Hi Donna!

That sounds like a good book --I do like both authors you mentioned...all the wonderful details they inject into their writings!

You will laugh butI just finished a biography about George Washington! I really enjoyed it and I was fascinated to learn more about him and the early political system. I love when history comes alive!
