Summer will soon be over for another year, and I find myself trying to squeeze every last bit of the sunshine into my day.
The mornings are cooler now.
The flowers have faded and turned to seed.
Now is the time we clean up our gardens and get them ready for winter.
It's hard to let go.
Let's enjoy it for a while longer.
Summer's end.

Donna,
I love your photographs, they create such a serene mood. I opened up the door this morning and there were leaves on the ground and a coolness in the air that clearly says Fall will arrive at any moment.
Have a lovely day.

Awwwww!! Such a sweet post! And SO true!hughugs
I can definitely tell summer is almost over. Atleast down South it stays warmer longer than when we lived in the North. Have a great day!
My garden is at the same phase as yours Donna ~ most of the flowers (with the exception of the cosmos and hibiscus) have turned to seed. I love Otis & Riley's collection of toys :-)
Hi Donna, I loved the beautiful photos you took at the waterfowl park...what a lovely place.
You and me both, I hate to see summer going.

Donna, your photos are just lovely. Your little dachsies are the cutest! I have a miniature longhaired dachsie and he is the sweetest little boy. His name is Oliver, but we sometimes call him Hank the Tank . . . he may be small but he's sturdy! LOL!!
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Teresa
This summer has flown by. Nights are getting cooler. Days aren't as hot. Mimi
Donna, I would love to sit for a while and share a cup of coffee with you. Life is to be savored.
Lovely post Donna. I enjoyed all of the photos. The coffee cup in the first photo is so pretty.
