A tribute to a very sweet lady

Anna M. Stauffer
August 1, 1907 - July 16, 2009
Galen's grandmother passed away last Thursday. She was 101 years old, just a few weeks short of her next birthday. A beautiful lady and the sweetest person you would ever want to know. She was the mother of 4 children, 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Amazing.
Her faith was deep, she had an unconditional love for her family, had many many friends, was kind and uplifting and always had a story to tell, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
We will miss her.
~ She will forever be in our hearts.

She sounds like a wonderful lady indeed. I am sorry to you and Galen on your loss. My husband had a great aunt who lived to be 100. She was a real blessing in our lives.

Donna, I am so sorry about Galen's grandmother passing, but what a legacy! I wish I could have known her. She sounds like an angel. My grandmother (who lived to be 97) and has been dead for years would have been 114 on July 2. She was my favorite person in the world.

On a cheerier note, I hope you will enter my blog drawing, Donna. I'd love for you to have a shot at winning.

XO,

Sheila :-)

I'm so sorry for your loss. We can gain a world of knowledge from people that age. My husband's grandmother is 98 and tells the most amazing stories of her past. Enjoy the memories!
