How does my garden grow?

Wonderfully!

I was very excited this morning when I noticed some sweet peas hanging on the vine. This is the first time I've ever planted them and they seem to be doing well.

Lots of tomatoes too.

Squash, cucumbers and lettuce are plentiful. We've been enjoying fresh salads.

One thing that's not plentiful.......jobs.

On a more serious note ~
Galen has lost his job. Seems to be a result of the slow economy. He's got a few prospects and interviews and we are keeping our fingers crossed.
Hopefully something will come along soon. Just trying to stay positive.

Your garden looks wonderful. Our tomatoes are just starting to grow and will be awhile yet. Sorry to hear about Galen. I hope he finds a new job quickly.

Your garden looks so nice and healthy. It must be because of those two little helpers you have ;-)

I am so sorry to hear about Galen's job loss. I'm sure that is a very unsettling feeling. I will be keeping you both in my thoughts and hopefully it won't be long until a new job comes along.

Hugs,
Kim

Hi Donna,

So sorry to hear about Galen's job. I hope all works out well.

Wow, I've only seen sweet peas in the supermarket before, never on the vine, LOL....I love the way they grow, how fascinating. Please let us know how they taste when you sample some.

Donna, your tomatoes are way ahead of mine! It has been so cooland rainy here the past few weeks that they are not growing as fast as they should.

I am so sorry to hear that Galen lost his job. I know so many who have been "excessed" or laid off this year. I wish him good luck in a new job -- I'll say a prayer for you all!
