Angel Food Cake and Summer

These two just seem to go together. When summer rolls around I find myself baking Angel Food Cake.

Of course, I make it easy and call on my good friend, Betty Crocker. In a jiff you have a simply delicious, light summer dessert.

Add some fresh strawberries or blue berries and enjoy!

Other news......

Some of you were asking about my brother, so I thought I'd give you an update.

My sister was just visiting in PA and spent some time with him. He is doing a little better, has gained some weight and is getting around quite a bit using a walker. He is a strong person and has a will to live. He's in no way ready to give up. There are some complications right now with medication and he has good days and bad days. He is still at the assisted living home and continues to be cared for and monitored by Hospice.

There is not a lot we can do but give him our love and support. We wish things were different but life is what it is. We continue to pray for him.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Have a wonderful day! I'm spending mine outside today gardening.
