Sweet Magnolia

Oh, the delicious scent of the magnolia flower.

I picked this bloom on my walk with Otis and Riley.

They're enjoying the sweet fragrance too.

Enjoy your day!

I think magnolias are beautiful. I never thought to smell the blossoms until I saw someone's blog post last year talking about how wonderful they smelled. So I cut one and brought it in. It didn't last long, but it sure was heavenly while it lasted.

Magnolias here in Scandinavia bloom in late May and signify the end of the school year; they are also a symbol of the students.
Lovely pictures.

I can smell it now. I've always wanted to plant a magnolia, but never have.
