Jury duty is over!
I was at the court house for two days and both days I was picked for a jury ~ two different civil cases involving car accidents. The cases went fairly fast and we were able to come to a quick verdict (the first case we came to a verdict in about an hour, the second case in about ten minutes). Then we were dismissed. Yeah!
It's over, and I shouldn't be called again for at least two years!

I just wanted to tell you about the 4H artisans show that we had on Saturday. It turned out to be a great day! Lots of vendors and lots of great things! We sold one of our big marble chasers to a very happy little guy.
Do you see those wind chimes on the right of the photo above? I just had to have one. And now it's hanging on the back porch tinkling in the wind.

Beautiful pictures; I can not believe that your trees have leaves already.;)) Here they only start to have buds.;)
Glad to hear that jury duty has come and gone and you are off the hook for a few years. Now you can get on with enjoying your pretty new wind chimes.
How nice that your art show was a success.
Glad it went fast! I served last year. One case that lasted for 3 days!
Love your wind chimes.

I hate it when called to sit in jury duty but I guess we must all take our turns. I complained about missing work..big forcast to present..any way someone reported me to the judge and he called me into his chambers and questioned me about my complaining!!!Oh Boy!!
I did sit on that jury and it was an attempted murder case so it took awhile! NOT GUILTY>Argh!!
Love the chimes!Music to your ears!! :)
Oh double yeah! We hear ya on that one! Glad you "got out of it." Now enjoy these two years of no civic duties!

Otis and Riley certainly seem glad it's over. Nice that your "civic duty" didn't last too long.
Hi Donna
I'm glad to hear that jury duty was over quickly and that your art show was successful.
Hugs, Rhondi
I can't say I ever feel thrilled to get a jury summons in the mail, but when it's all over I feel as if I've done my civic duty. Glad your experience was only two days and pretty painless.
