Never be afraid to sit awhile and think.
~Lorraine Hansberry

I'm home from PA and trying to get back in the swing of things. It's been an emotional few days but everything went well, and it was good to be with the family.

Being home now I feel a bit of emptiness inside, so today I will take time to sit and think while I catch up on piles of laundry.

And while I sit and think, my wonderful friends and family come to mind. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your kind words and support. It means so much. You are all so special to me. I will be around soon to visit you and catch up on all I've missed.

So I will refill my coffee cup, fold some laundry, and then sit awhile with Otis and Riley.

I think Otis and Riley have the right idea!

The boys do indeed know how to relax after a stressful week. I find folding laundry just the right task to let my mind wander to all the memories of the previuous days whether in joy of sorrow, it is good to take the quiet time to contemplate.

What a beautiful cup on the picture.
Glad you are back; I love doing laundry, there is nothing like the scent of fresh washed clothes.;)
Enjoy the coffee.;)

Welcome home, Donna. I'm glad to hear that things went well in PA, but unfortunately the emotional part can take a while to get over. Take your time to think, enjoy your coffee from that gorgeous mug, take in the beauty of the daffodils and cuddle up with those adorable doggies. I think we can learn alot from them.

Just remember that your friends in blogland are thinking of you.

Hugs,
Kim

Glad you made it safely home. Makes me want to take some time and enjoy my family. Life is short and I shouldn't take my time here for granted. Mimi

Family gatherings for funerals are such bittersweet times. Your photos are just gorgeous--that mug is beautiful! And I adore Otis and Riley. They look just like my Dewey as a younger fella. :) Climb up there with them with you coffee and let your mind just go. Hugs. Angie
