The rain has been coming down the past few days so I've kept myself busy indoors, cleaning, organizing, rearranging and decorating. I always get a spurt of energy early January after the holidays.
It's nice to get rid of the clutter.
Fluffing my nest.
And, for those long dark evenings inside, how about a 1,000 piece puzzle!

I have been spending my days doing the same types of things and thoroughly enjoyig it. Although I have not tackled a puzzle that big. Good job.

I've been organizing and cleaning too. It's nice to have the Christmas decorations out but it's also nice having the house back to normal. January is a good putzing month..especially today when we are ice covered here in my part of NJ.
love that birdie plate!
Lots and Lots of snow coming down here but that's about all. Christmas decorations still up :-)
Love your little birdie plate and new calender!
I love puzzles.;) And it is wonderful to have time to tend to one's home; sometimes I feel I would need more vacation to be able to do that.;)
Sheesh, I think you should be taking photographs for House and Garden Magazine! Gorgeous!
Happy New Year, Donna! Give Riley and Otis big New Years schmooshies from Maisie and I.:)
That dark blue pillow with the brush fringe is great....what a beautiful color....You have a beautiful home...

I am with you--isn;t the sparseness of JAN nice??
Hi Donna,
I hope everyone in your family is feeling better.
Seems like this is the time of year for cleaning and organizing and simplifying. Your home is lovely.
Your paintings and photographs of of Otis and Riley are adorable - they always look like they are having so much fun together.
Blessings and best wishes for a wonderful year.

Would you come to my house please?
I'll do the basic chores just because I have to. Christmas is in the past...well we still have some traveling to do.
Everything is so pretty...one day I may get creative in our home.
Donna, your home looks so lovely, and I love the details. We have been getting snow and ice every other day here, so nesting feelings are similar. I find myself baking more, and enjoying being home. I showed your lovely painting of a bird that I bought from you on my post today. I find this time of year birds, nests and nature remind me Spring is coming.

There's something so nice about taking down the holiday decorations and getting the house back in order. There's so much more space and less clutter.
Hi Donna, this time of the year is wonderful for rearranging your house....Your house always looks so beautiful though, I don't think it really needs any help.
