Hot weather

Our ceiling fans are working overtime as temperatures hit near 100 degrees and it's not even summer yet!

Otis and Riley like it outside, however, they do come in for lots of breaks and cold water.

Me, I stayed inside most of the day upholstering a wing back chair. What a challenge! I will show you the before and after when it's finished!

Have a great Friday!

Hi Donna
Hot and humid here today too - we are expecting high temps all weekend - high 80's & have our ceiling fans going too.
Looking forward to seeing your wing chair re-do :-} Have a great day!

It was definitely hot the last few days, and it sounds as if we are in for a few more.

Thank God we are in better shape with rain this year compared to last.

I can't wait to see your chair.

Love it Donna. It has not been hot here in WA. It just can't get the warm groove on it seems.

Love the photos so very much. I can't wait to see your wing chair. What a great project to do.

Take Care and have a fab weekend with the doggies..

Hi Donna
Isn't this heat awful? Thanks for joining the porch party. It is taking me forever to get around to visit eevryone. Even though your porchi s small it is so welcoming Just makes me want to see the rest of the house.
I love what I can see of your back/sideyard. How lucky for you to have a screened in area. Once the mosquitoes are out we don't use our porch as much as we'd like !
Hugs, Rhondi

Stay cool and give those sweet doggies a hug from me!

Our weather is supposed to be very hot beginning tomorrow and lasting until Tuesday. I prefer cooler weather, but I know my daughters love to go to the beach. I look forward to seeing your chair. Happy Friday. Karen

The hot weather has worked it's way to us. We are supposed to be in the low 90's for 3 days! What is up with that?

I put my signs up! I couldn't wait for cooler temps. They are so wonderful! I took Hubby for a walk on the trail and kept exclaiming about what signs I was going to ask for next :-) Hobbit Hollow or Chipmunk Hollow, Coral Bell Alley or Mock Orange Boulevard. I hope you aren't getting tired of me!

Looking forward to seeing you chair project. I have never tackled anything like that! Yikes!

((hugs)) Rosie

Oh, how I envy you the know-how to recove a chair...I have 2 little club chairs and an ottoman that I so need to have done and just can't afford it...
It is hot here in West Texas, too...over 100 most days now...and soooo dry. Our plants and flowers are just burning up....
