Prettying up on the outside

Hubby and I worked outside all weekend. We mowed, trimmed, edged, puned, and planted.

I bought geraniums and planted them in different pots around the house. This year I went with pink!

Our front door.
A peek through the trees. The azaleas are almost over and the grass will soon be green. We have centipede grass which is dormant over the winter and greens in the spring.
This is the pile of trimmings hubby gathered together for the compost pickup.

Now that the outside is finished, except for washing windows, I've got tons of work to do on the inside.

It is so pretty Donna.
I have never heard of centipede grass, does it have hundreds of roots..lol?
It feels so rewarding to get the garden tidied, and your pink geraniums look great.
We have to redo our front lawn completely because of white grubs.
Thank goodness it is a small area.

HI, Donna, I've missed so much with traveling, just wanted to say hi. Love your pink flowers, that is my favorite color in flowers too. I've got to get outside this week and try to get somethings planted as well as work on a patio project.

You've been busy with all that painting with your sister! I'm sure it was very rewarding.

xo,
Rhoda

Your home is just beautiful. I just love weekends like that!

I will have to google centipede grass. I have never heard of that either.

Have a wonderful week! ((hugs)) Rosie

Hi Donna,
What a lovely garden - mine is in serious need of attention!
I love pink flowers and geraniums remind me so much of my childhood -my mom always had them growing in the garden.
have a great day.
Blessings,
Sandy

It looks great. I love the green of spring. Everything looks so fresh. I am a pink geranium girl.

Ooh, I still have windows to clean, too. I want to make sure the pollen is finished.

Hi Donna
I haven't visited for awhile so I am catching up on all the posts I've missed. Your garden is lovely and I think your home is very charming. WHat a nice back porch to hang out in. Oh And I love the pink chair.
I'll be interested to see what you painted on that rainy day last week.
Hugs, Rhondi
