Dogwood

I cut some dogwood branches yesterday and brought them in and put them in water. I'm hoping they open for Easter.
I thought they'd look nice on the sideboard. They're pretty even if they don't open. It adds a nice spring touch to the dining room.

This is a great idea. If I can plow my way through the snow in the back yard, I'll pick some forsythia, and see if it will do the same for me...!
I've had no luck growing dogwood.

I love the dogwoods. Yesterday I saw tinges of pink in the woods so the red buds are popping out. We have a pink dogwood at the family room window and when it is in full bloom it bathes the whole room in a glow of pink. (Hmmm....I think that might be a future post). Have a wonderful Easter weekend Donna. ~ Lynn
