It's a new year!

Oh wow 2008! Happy New Year everyone! It's a new year and wouldn't you know it, I start it out with a cold, fever, congestion, sore throat - the works! I hope this is no indication of how my year is going to be. I must say I've enjoyed the holidays but I'm also glad it's over, as I breathe a sigh of relief! The day after New Years Day is when I start taking down all the Christmas decorations so that's what I'm trying to do today in between blowing my nose and taking pills.

I'm not one to make new year's resolutions but I always try to think of the new year as a new blank page, and to do the best I can, be kind, and be thankful for everything.

I'm posting a few holiday pictures. We spent Christmas Day in Pennsylvania and another part of the Christmas holiday in North Carolina, so these are a mixture of both places.

I want to wish everyone ~ family, friends, and all my blogger friends, a very happy and wonderful new year!

Hi Donna,
Looks like a fun time was had by all! So sorry to hear you're not feeling well -- I've got the same thing. I feel like I'm going to drown if I have to drink another cup of tea, but it does seem to help my throat. Hope you feel better soon. I'm leaving my decorations up until the weekend, when I will hopefully feel slightly better.
xoxo,
Mary

Gosh it sounds like we all have the same bug Donna..!
I never get colds but this is a doozy.
Love your holiday photos, I like the one of you with your Sis(?) and the other lady...I'm guessing you are all related since you all have the same blue eyes..!
