Dessert

Last evening I made an apple-pear tart for dessert. Would you like to know how I made it? Cut up 4 granny smith apples and 2 pears, put them in a bowl and add a bit of sugar (maybe 2 tablespoons) and some cinnamon. (I don't measure anything when I make tarts and pies) Stir the apple mixture. Then unroll a pre-made pie crust and put it on a baking sheet. Put the apple mixture on the pie dough (pile it high in the center) and turn up the edges of the dough all the way around. Brush an egg wash on the crust and sprinkle with some sugar and it's ready to bake, 375 for about 40 minutes or so. And voila! Eat it warm with vanilla ice cream. Delish!

Good Morning Donna dear,
Now this looks easy enough for even me, and good.
Please stop by and play the "waiting game" with me.

The apples are looking really good right now-I think I'll make this too-with a store bought crust to make it really easy.
