It poured down raining today and was a bit dreary so I thought it would be a good day to use up those three ripe bananas that have been staring me in the face for the last few days, saying, "bake some banana nut bread."
I'm glad I did. The sweet aroma filled the whole house and lifted my spirits. I made a cup of coffee and sat down and enjoyed a warm delicious piece.

Love banana bread and this loaf looks almost as scrummy as Otis and Riley!
Now that's a fall activity - how homey - makes you just want to curl up in a cozy blanket!!
