After our early morning walk today which was a very short jaunt around the neighborhood, Otis and Riley and I were wilted. The temperatures were already rising. Today will be 105 degrees with heat index of 114. One has to stay inside when it's that hot outside. So we did. Otis and Riley took a morning nap on the bed in the air conditioning, and I made another cup of coffee and enjoyed the next chapter in my book. It will also be a good day for painting.
