Looking out the window right now, the snow is coming down fast and furious. We've had warnings to stay inside and off the roads because of icy conditions today. This is North Carolina. Crazy, crazy weather. Yes, I know it's crazy everywhere, all over the US.
So, what do we do while being confined to the house?
How about sitting by a nice warm fire, reading to your hearts delight. That's what I've been doing. Catching up on some old Belva Plain books.
And drawing in my sketch book.
These birds will eventually end up on note cards in my etsy shop. Next comes the paint.
I hope you're enjoying whatever it is you're doing today!
And I am wishing and wishing for warmer weather to hurry up and come soon!

Hi Donna
I made some bread and am spending time visiting my blog friends :) Looks like the snow is finished here in Charlotte but it is kind of sleeting now :(
Enjoy your fire and books. Hugs, Rhondi
It is still snowing here. We have about 7 inches so far and they are predicting another 6-7 inches over night.
Today, I painted a first coat on a piece of furniture and tomorrow the second coat goes on.
Hugs,
Penny
I feel a bit guilty complaining about weather when everyone else is freezing, here we have another problem, too much warmth and an extremely dry winter which is resulting in a serious drought. Too bad we can't find a way to even things out.
Oh Donna...I wish I could send you some of OUR crazy weather...64 today and 70's all weekend and next week!
It was freezing rain here Yesterday!!!
Stay in and stay warm!
