Today is a cold and rainy day here in North Carolina and I am soooo yearning for some warm sunshine.
We just returned home from radiation treatment # 6 at UNC hospital. Driving for an hour and a half each way in the rain is not a lot of fun in my book, but we are safely home, happy, warm and dry.
Radiation is going well, 6 down, 24 to go. Am I counting?....Yes! This should be the last big hurdle that I have to go through and I can hardly wait until it's over.
As I sit here and type this I can hear the pitter patter of rain drops outside.
The garden will be happy.
Hope you are enjoying this Autumn day wherever you are.
Talk to you later!

Glad to hear that your radiation is going well, Donna. I hope the countdown passes quickly for you.
It is surprisingly chilly here today. I'm trying not to cave in and put the furnace on.
Y'all just be careful with all that driving!
It's almost over!!!! What???Hahaaaa... Well it IS!!
Love you Girlie!

6 already? I believe Thanksgiving is the time you'll be complete.
I would trade you some sunshine because I've had my fill but rain is in the forecast. It will be a welcomed event IF it really does rain.
So glad all is going well for you! It's been a little chilly here too. Prayers are still coming your way. Mimi
Happy to hear that the treatments are going well.
It is raining an cool here too Donna. The sun is suppose to peak out this afternoon.
Glad you're doing well and hope it all goes by quickly.
Hugs,
Cathie
Donna, I will be thinking of you every day as you make the trips for your treatment. Are they on weekdays with the two weekend days off?
You remain in my heart and prayers. You are almost there.♥
Chilly and rainy. I guess it is that time of year.
Hi Donna,
I was thinking about you today, and thought I would stop by and see how you are. That's a long trip to go for radiation treatment, but you have six down already.
We have a cold and rainy day here in Massachusetts too. Rainy days always make me feel like getting cozy and pouring a cup of tea.
Wishing you a lovely day.

Hey, there. Glad that you're doing well and feel like posting. Our garden really needed the rain, too..well what was left..grass and shrubs. The tomatoes and peppers are finished, but the roses have started blooming again..yay. Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Babs
Hugs back to you Donna. I'm glad the therapy is going well. It hasn't rained in Vancouver now for a very long time, (highly unusual) and tomorrow the rain is supposed to come. I'm looking forward to it. Nice cup of tea, open fire...let it rain I say. Be brave and stay safe on those long drives. You are important to me. :)
Hope you have a great weekend Donna. Give the boys a kiss from me!

For some reason your posts haven't been showing up on my feed...and I have been thinking about you. It sounds as if the treatments are progressing, it will be so great to have it all done with! Here it is still warm, but we actually had a bit of rain last week...wonderful. Take care.
Donna, I had no Idea what you were going through! Since I lost my hubby in January I have been barely able to function as before and have not been blog visiting much at all. I decided to catch up this morning and was so sad to read about your trials. I will be praying for you big time and ask God to lay his healing hand on you and restore you completely you dear sweet lady! luvu, Kerrie
