The last one!

Chemo # 8.  Can you believe it!  The last one!
I thought this day would never come, and it's actually here!

When I look back at the months of chemotherapy, I can only think "nightmare".
It was like being in a dark hole and never getting out.

Now I can breathe a sigh of relief.  Well almost.
By tomorrow night my chemo treatments will be over....
just a few side effects for the next two weeks, but that's ok.
And, of course, I have surgery and radiation to deal with in the near future....
but I feel the worst is over,

and I can handle it!

Yea!

Love you all for being there and helping me get through this first very hard phase of breast cancer.

P.S.  I'm sorry, I really never meant for my blog to turn into a "cancer blog".
Not very fun or interesting.
I guess when this happens, it just takes over your life.

Hooray for the last chemo treatment!! Hope you're going to do something you enjoy to celebrate.
Nothing at all to be sorry about. Life isn't always rosy even though we would like it to be. Besides this gave us a chance to pray for you and keep you in our thoughts.
Love those happy daisies!!
Hugs to you, Donna.

Congrats on your last chemo. You certainly shouldn't be apologizing for blogging about what you are going through! Releasing it to the world is a good thing. And staying positive helps with healing. Wishing you all the best, Tammy

Donna I am so happy chemo is over for you and I hope your chemo symptoms are fading by now. I have a good friend who was also going through chemo for ovarian cancer at this time, and between her brave example and yours I feel much more confident that if this happens to me I'd be able to go through it. You have given us all a glimpse into this difficult time in your life with grace and humor and honesty.

I am hoping that the rest of your treatment will go smoothly and that soon life will return to normal.

{{hugs}}} and prayers always!

Dear Donna, even thought it is not the same, not by far, I know how you feel. I am facing 4 long months without the man that I love. In the beginning I thought the end would never come, it was so long and so unimaginable, but now I have almost only 1 moths left.
Congratulation on reaching the end of a long dark tunnel, that is how it feels for me too. Hang in there.;)
And do not ever apologize for keeping your blog real.
Many hugs to you,
xoxo
