Winter, in this heat??

It's 100 plus degrees outside and hotter than all blazes,

so, yes, I am cooling off today inside and reading the most wonderful book...

"A Week in Winter" by Marcia Willett.

It takes place in England and the Cotswalds and it's all about an enchanting old country house called "Mooregate".

It's the kind of book that makes you want to curl up on the sofa and enjoy a cup of tea,
or in my case a cup of coffee....yes, even on a hot day like today.

I found this book at our local library for $1.00.

Love a bargain!

Hope you're staying cool!

I have one of her books on my bedside table - this one came from a used book store too. If you want it (and two others) they're yours when I've finished them - just email me.

I came back to tell you that I checked with my library and they have several of Marcia Willet's books. Hooray! I can hardly wait to start checking them out.

Donna
This sounds like my kind of book. I've been reading so much more lately, just because I'm too tired after work to do much else!
I hope this finds you feeling better. I'm still praying for you.

I think you have found the perfect solution to beat this heat. I have read a few of her books and loved them.
So glad to hear that you are enjoying your coffee once again.

It's soooo hot here too. A great day to stay inside and read! I'll be looking for that book. Thanks for the suggestion. Mimi

Seems like an interesting book, which would fit here in our climate - we have had the coldest June in 12 years.:( Lets hope July will make up for the lack of summer so far.;)
Have a lovey week and enjoy your book - and the heat.;)
