After trimming your rosemary bush......

bring the clippings inside and put them in a vase.
Your room will smell so good!

I just planted a rosemary plant a few days ago. I'll certainly do that when it's big enough. Mimi

Try this:
Soak smaller clippings in water. Place them on hot coals when BBQing chicken to add a nice smoke.

Use the larger stems for kabob skewers after you strip the leaves off.

Yummy.

I do love the smell of rosemary. It's also supposed to be good for keeping the memory sharp... or so they say :).
Believe it or not we just dug up our rosemary plant. It had gotten way too big for the place it was planted in. I think I need to find a new spot and plant another.
Hope you are having a nice weekend, Donna.

I know what you mean...rosemary smells so good when you bring it in the house and it dries well for dried arrangements too. It is such a great plant.

Good idea...mine from last year is in need of a trim. I do that with mint, but haven't with rosemary. Thanks for the idea.
