The more chemo treatments I undergo the more severe the side effects and the longer it takes for my body to rebound. Ugh. Some days I feel like a deflated balloon, hardly having enough energy to walk from one room to the other.
Can I do this? I don't know.
Bad days.....good days......
hoping for more good days and the strength to get through all of this.
I did manage to walk out to the garden today and picked some fresh strawberries from the strawberry patch.

Let those mourning doves sing their gentle song to sooth you and I'll pray that it goes by quickly and you'll be feeling better soon. Look to Him for strength.

Cathie
I've never had chemo, but my husband did...and I saw first hand how very unpleasant it can be. If we could only take away some of your discomfort.....but sadly we can't. We can only pray for you and hope that your family is helping you. Keep remembering that each treatment is bringing you that much closer to the final treatment. Please know how many people, who you don't even know, are thinking about and praying for you.Prayer is a powerful thing and many prayers are going up for you.
Take care, Balisha
Give yourself a chance and let your body heal. I will pull some weeds in your honor today. You have given me strength.
Yes, you can Donna...Your are strong...I wish there was something I could do to take away your pain, I would do it in a heartbeat. Rest....absorb the love and prayers everyone is sending you...

You can do it, Donna - one day, one treatment at a time. I wish that we could all, collectively, take some of the bad moments from you. Sending you prayers for relief.....
Oh Donna, I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I know it's easy for me to say that you CAN do it when I'm not the one feeling what you are feeling right now, but I believe with all of my heart that you really can do it.
I have been praying for you and often it is when I see a mourning dove on my patio that I send up a prayer for you.
Your strawberries look so good. I hope you are able to enjoy eating them now.

Sending you healing rays of light and love and energy, my sweet friend. Snuggle in with Riley and Otis and try to make yourself as comfortable as possible. I think of you every day, and I'm flinging all of the good energy I can to you...Hugs, sweet girl.
Yes you can...you have the support and love of your wonderful husband and your family. It will get better and each treatment brings you closer to having it all over and being well again.
Tomorrow WILL be a better day!! Hang in there. Our prayers are going out to you and for you. Sometimes when I have to do hard things I think if I can just get through this one day, or one afternoon, or one hour and sometimes it helps. Hugs to you and your family. Mimi
OH Donna~ I'm sorry you are having a hard time...I hope tomorrow IS a better day for you! Sending good thoughts and prayers! XO
Ah, dear Donna. The treatments definitely have a building cumulative impact. It does get harder and harder. But, I have no doubt that you can do this. Your family and friends are there to carry you on this difficult journey.
I watched one of my greatest loves go through chemotherapy, and I guess it takes something this nasty to kill cancer. Just hold on as God carries you through.
Love to you, dear Donna.♥♥♥
Oh Donna. Bless your heart, what an awful thing to have to go through, but you are beautiful and strong and God will help you get through this. Sending many good thoughts and prayers your way. Oh, and your strawberries look wonderful. Mine came back from last year, but some of the runners are in the walking path and I only have one little strawberry. Can you tell I haven't tended my garden properly?
Hugs and smiles,
Babs
I happened upon your wonderful blog awhile back and always enjoyed seeing your posts. I especially will keep you in my prayers as you go through this difficult journey.
It is something that any of us could be faced with. Even though our paths have never cross, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hang in there! I know you can do it but for now, don't rush, take it slow and give your body a chance to heal. ♥♥♥
You can do it sweet lady...I know it is so hard and some days seem insurmountable. But a day at a time and with each day you are closer to a clean bill of health. You are in so many prayers and hearts...bless you Donna.
Love,
Sue
