How about you? It's been so chilly lately that I'm quite content just to curl up on the sofa with Otis and Riley, my coffee, a good book, and a few warm snuggly blankets, and Otis and Riley have been loving the "lap" time. I'm not an outdoor kind of person in the winter time, but that's a different story in the summer. Patiently waiting for warm weather.

On another note, this past weekend our daughter, Jen, and her cousin went skydiving. Who knew? I never realized my daughter was so daring. Maybe she got that from her dad. We enjoyed being at the airport and all the excitement around us. It's amazing what all goes into getting ready for that one jump. I think, in fact, I know, I was more nervous than she was.
Oh, but it was wonderful! Scary, but wonderful, watching her floating in the air like a bird and then landing safely on the ground.
Fun and exciting.....but something I could never ever see myself doing.

You couch looks like a wonderful place to be cozy and relax. Your daughter is BRAVE!!
Skydiving....no way !!
Indoors and warm...just the way I like it.
Donna
That does look like the perfect place to cozy in on a cold day. I love your end table/shelf?
Your daughter is brave. I know I'd have a heart attack if I had to jump out of a plane!
Oh my gosh! She is very brave.
I am not a cold weather gardener either, fortunately it has warmed up here and I am trying to make the best use of it.
Stay cozy.
Yikes! I'd rather be cocooning. Mimi
Dear Donna, what a brave daughter you have indeed. My man is a soldier and a skydiver, so I guess I am expected to jump with him one day, but am still preparing myself for it.;)
Love your cozy sofa and the simple pleasure of being inside.;)
xoxo
You have a BREAV Daughter Donna!!!Hahaaa...Floating in the air is Not my "thing" either...
The sofa looks and sounds inviting!!

It's not as cold here but I love having a sofa to relax on...with all of my favorite things close by! ♥
It will be a snuggle weekend for me, Donna as we are expecting bad weather.
Your daughter is brave but I have to admit it looked like wonderful fun!
I loved your furniture reorganization in your prior post and your pet portrait. Nice to catch up with you tonight.
Good for her. It must have been a thrill. I know I am not that brave.
Curling up and cocooning sounds good to me. I hope I can do some of that this weekend.
brrrr......it's 15 degrees today (and NO kiddin' it was 60 in my house when I left....I think I need to tell my husband that he can keep it programed at 68 until 9:30am!!!!)
Keep warm Donna!
ps ~ you're daughter is awesome, and how cool that you got to watch (I don't know if I'd want to watch one of my kids do that, so I'd say YOU were the BRAVE one!!)
Our son and a friend of his went skydiving---they are brave young people. :) No way would I ever willingly jump out of an airplane---heck, I have a hard enough time being strapped in the seat of one. LOL Your indoor activities are my most favorite Winter activities. :D
Oh my gosh! I don't even like flying let along jumping out of plane. Makes me shiver to just think about it! Your daughter has guts!
Well it's been rainy and stormy all weekend so I worked on projects.
