And...one of the great things about this year's fair is that Galen and I won the first place Blue Ribbon! (we kid each other...I say it was my artwork, he says it was his woodworking). Either way, we won. The "Carnivale" marble roller ~ here it is ~
I took quite a few photos during the day but limited myself so as not to bore you.
We had beautiful fall weather, a little on the chilly side.

Hooray and congratulations for coming in first place. You two make a good team.
Love your pictures from the state fair. My son and his girlfriend are going tomorrow. We are heading to Raleigh this weekend for a hockey tournament. I'd love to be able to sneak to the fair too. Not sure if there will be time to do it all.
I knew you guys were going to get the blue ribbon!! Congrats! It looks like a fun fair. I love that big chair. It reminds me of Laugh In and Lily Tomlim portraying Edith Ann....
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Penny
I'd be on that chair too! You and your sister look so cute.
Congrats on the blue ribbon - well done!
Congrats to you and hubby !!!
Looks like a fun State Fair.
hmmmm... did you ever think of making note cards for sharing seeds. Like seeds/pods on them. I like sending seeds out taped inside cards I've made but I'm just not as creative as you.

I love these fairs! While we do not have state fairs we have various Fall fairs etc and they are so much fun. I love the photo of you and your sister on the big chair.

Congratulations on your Blue Ribbon! It is so well deserved as both you and Galen did a wonderful job on making the marble catcher.
I loved the photo of you and your sister in the big chair and all the funny carved pumpkins at the fair.
I hope you enjoyed the fair, I used to visit it every year when I lived in Durham.;))
Love you title.;)

Congratulations on your win at the fair. I didn't get a first this year, just four seconds-I will have to try harder!
