Blooms and birds
On my morning walk with Otis and Riley I picked this beautiful magnolia bud at the park, brought it home and put it in water. The petals are slowly opening. The smell is heavenly ~ it's like having a magnolia air freshener throughout the whole house. AhhhhhhI also spotted some little hummingbirds this morning flitting around the back porch. I'm hoping to get a picture of the little guys soon.Have a beautiful day!

Beautiful magnolia bud...I'm sensing you may create a painting from that photo. : ) Love the close up you got of that bee in the below post as well.
I adore magnolia blossoms and leaves. They always smell a bit lemony to me.

What a beautiful flowers. I didn't realize they had a scent... I haven't been able to catch a hummingbird yet this year either....they are moving fast!
