Peonies from the garden

....one of the loveliest of flowers.   A beautiful flower that takes your breath away.  

I brought a bouquet in from the garden this morning and put them in my white teapot.  The shadows from the morning sun were so pretty I just had to take a picture.  

One of life's simple pleasures.

    Beautiful peonies Donna. I wish I could grow peonies here but it just gets to hot for them. Great photo.

    Beautiful! Wish I could grow them, but they don't do well in my yard. Maybe it's my gardening skills...or lack of. :) Love your arrangement in the teapot.

    So pretty Donna. We just planted tree peonies here. Two have buds, one doesn't yet. I am looking forward to them blooming.
