Birdfeeder

I was out shopping the other day and bought this window birdfeeder. It attaches to the window with a suction cup, and it has a thermometer on the back. I thought it would be great for the kitchen window where I could get a close up of the birds feeding and also read the temperature outside.

Shortly after I put it up a little bird came. I'm not sure what he is, but he's so cute!

And then more came! Now I'm getting lots of little birds feeding right outside the kitchen window. It's so enjoyable to watch them.

Have a great day!

  1. How fun! I'll have to look for one of those. Our birdfeeder hangs on a tree branch, so the birds aren't completely visible. My boys would love one that is a little more "up close and personal"!

  3. I love love little birdies. This is the cutest idea in a bird feeder. I have a little ledge on my front day that can cause a little gathering of finches. It just melts my heart.

I hope that you will enjoy these cute birdies, as they gather around your kitchen window. Simple joys of life is where its at.. Thanks for sharing Donna.

  6. I just found your blog, and what an absolute pleasure it has been strolling through! :) Oh my goodness, you gotta love Otis and Riley...I have two black/tans too--Dewey and Badger. My 'boys' are getting older, Dew is 13 and Badger is 12. And they truly are little heartbeats at my feet. :) You have a lovely blog, and I'll definitely be dropping in for tea and a visit often. :)

  7. Donna we have the same bird bath and now I want to have your same birdfeeder! I have been thinking of placing one at the kitchen window so I can admire as I wash up the dishes!
Yes I still wash..use the dishwasher only when company comes..with two retirees..we don't go through too many dishes..now I think I gave out too much information!! Now back to your feeder... I love it! hugs NG

  12. Donna, I love these kind of bird feeders. When Ned and I were first married we moved into a town home that had a large garden window, Ned hung smaller versions of the one you have here. We had hours of entertainment as the bird would visit. This one is really special. Karen

  16. Love watching birds. I used to feed them until one day I saw baby rats in a feeder... yuck!
I rely on the trees in my garden now to feed the birds.
We have a lot of doves... even had a nest this year... FUN to watch the babies grow and fly away.
